Varano is a small town with no public transportation. To reach “C’era una volta” with ease, we recommend that you rent a car in a nearby city (e.g. Salerno or Naples). Take exit A3 SA-RC at Campagna.
Alternatively, the festival staff can meet you at the Battipaglia train station (directions listed below) and provide transportation to “C’era una volta.” If you choose to do so, please make arrangements well in advance.
From Rome (Roma)
Fly into Rome Fiumicino Airport (“Leonardo da Vinci”). From the airport, take the Leonardo Express (Trenitalia, 14 EUR) or any shuttle bus to the Roma Termini. From the Termini, take the train to Napoli. Get off at Napoli, and take the train to Battipaglia.
From Naples (Napoli)
Fly into the Aeroporto Internazionale di Napoli. Take the Alibus (the official airport bus) or the local bus (no. 3S) to the train station (Stazione di Napoli Centrale). Take the train to Battipaglia.
